Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
In short: this website explains who I am and what I do. It isn't a contract for services, and results for one practice don't guarantee results for another. If we work together, we'll agree written terms first.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of samuelmoult.com, which is run by Samuel Moult, a dental marketing consultant trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. By using this website, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Using this website
- The content on this website is general information about my services. It isn't professional, legal or financial advice for your practice.
- Figures and case studies describe work for specific clients over specific periods. Every practice is different, and past results don't guarantee future results.
- The "Find practices like yours" tool gives general examples only. It isn't an assessment of your practice.
- I try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but I can't promise the website will always be complete, current or available.
- You must not misuse the website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code or copying it in bulk.
Working with me
Any services I provide are covered by a separate written agreement, which sets out the scope, fees and responsibilities. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes priority.
Responsible use of AI
I use AI tools, such as Claude and ChatGPT, to work faster and give clients more for their budget. I use them to help with:
- Drafting and editing copy, such as website content, social posts and award bids
- Research, competitor analysis and summarising data
- Design ideas, and building tools such as my marketing portal
When I use them, I follow these principles:
- A human is always in charge. I review, fact-check and edit everything an AI tool produces before it reaches a client or the public. I'm responsible for the final work.
- Confidentiality comes first. Only Claude is used on content that contains patient or staff personal information, redacted where appropriate. Other AI tools are only used on content with no personal information, and I keep the client information I share with any tool to the minimum needed.
- Accuracy and compliance. I check AI-assisted marketing against the advertising rules that apply to dentistry, including the General Dental Council's guidance and the Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code.
- Honesty. I won't use AI to create fake reviews, testimonials or misleading claims.
- Your choice. Clients can ask me not to use AI tools on their work, and I'll respect that.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, photos of me and graphics on this website belong to me. You may view and share pages for personal or business reference, but you may not copy or reuse the content without my permission.
Client names, logos and photographs are shown with permission and remain the property of their owners.
Links to other websites
Where this website links to other sites, I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Privacy
How I handle personal information is explained in my privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
