Nottingham Comedy Festival: A First Look

Another year means another round of comedy festivals across the UK but none are more important than the one in my home town. The Nottingham Comedy Festival will return again from 2-10th November and there's already a host of top acts that will be coming to the Midlands to make us laugh.

Last year I assisted in the running of The Ned Ludd and the Lacehouse, two venues which hosted a variety of comedians and comedy disciplines including a sell-out crowd for a live edition of The Parapod.

So...am I involved this year? At this stage, I can only confirm that I am involved! I'll be making a step up in 2018 and running my own venue with several acts across the week and a few special somethings in there too.

The venue is the lovely Vat and Fiddle located a 2 minute walk from the Nottingham Train Station. They're opening up their stores to give us an impressive space dubbed 'The Old Cold Store'.

That's about all I can/want to say at the moment, as I want to prepare a proper announcement for all of the acts and whatever else may be coming. This will be the first blog post of many as I begin my quest to make the Nottingham Comedy Festival bigger and better than ever before!
